No. At this time, all public visits and experiences are hosted at our fully licensed and approved Studio location in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, where we are authorized to exhibit our kangaroos and provide guest interactions. Our ranch remains a private zoological facility dedicated to the housing and care of our animals and is not currently open to the public. In the future, we may explore opportunities to host select experiences at the ranch.

Yes! We offer private educational experiences for corporate groups, schools, organizations, and other private groups looking for a unique opportunity to learn about and connect with our Red Kangaroos. Experiences are led by our knowledgeable team and focus on kangaroo biology, behavior, care, conservation, and responsible wildlife stewardship. Contact us to learn more about private experience options, availability, and pricing.

Kangaroo Experiences: Guests must be 5 years of age or older to enter our Studio and participate in kangaroo experiences. This age requirement is part of the licensing requirements for our facility, and no guests under age 5 are permitted in the Studio. No exceptions can be made. All guests require their own full-price ticket, regardless of age.

Kangaroo Yoga: Guests must be 10 years of age or older to participate.

We typically do not accept walk-ins in order to maintain the small, intimate group sizes that are an important part of our experiences. We highly recommend booking in advance, as many experiences sell out ahead of time. If you are hoping to visit the same day, you are welcome to call or email us and we will be happy to let you know if any last-minute availability remains.

No. Due to our small group sizes and limited Studio capacity, everyone entering the experience must have their own ticket, including guests who only wish to watch. Additionally, all guests under 18 must be accompanied by a ticketed parent or guardian who is at least 21 years old.

No. Kangaroo Ranch is not a rescue, sanctuary, or rehabilitation facility. We are a fully licensed Private Zoological Facility dedicated to exceptional lifelong animal care, education, and conservation. Every kangaroo in our care is a permanent member of the Kangaroo Ranch family and receives comprehensive husbandry, enrichment, nutrition, and veterinary oversight throughout their lifetime. Through responsible, educational experiences, we aim to inspire greater understanding and appreciation for kangaroos, wildlife, and conservation.

Kangaroos are not pets. They are specialized zoological animals with complex husbandry, nutritional, veterinary, behavioral, and housing needs. Their possession, care, transport, and exhibition are subject to licensing and regulation across multiple levels of government, including federal, state, county, and local authorities, depending on the activity and jurisdiction.

For the health and safety of our animals, outside food and beverages are not permitted during kangaroo experiences.Guests participating in Kangaroo Yoga may bring a personal water bottle.

Refunds are available when requested at least 7 days before your scheduled experience. Within 7 days of the event, tickets are non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person. With at least 48 hours’ notice, we may also be able to transfer your tickets to another available experience or date. All transfers are subject to availability and must be arranged with our team in advance.

Our kangaroos are deeply loved members of the Kangaroo Ranch family, and every animal that joins us has a permanent home for life. Our educational experiences give guests the opportunity to learn about kangaroo biology, behavior, husbandry, and conservation while connecting with these incredible animals in a meaningful way. Participation is always based on each kangaroo’s individual comfort and well-being. If an animal shows us they would prefer a quieter lifestyle, they can “Roo-tire” from public experiences and enjoy life at our private ranch. Whether they participate in educational experiences or not, our commitment to their exceptional care, welfare, and quality of life never changes.
