Kangaroo Ranch is a Fully Licensed, Professionally Managed
Private Zoological Facility
in Colorado specializing in the care, husbandry, and biology of Red Kangaroos (Osphranter rufus). 🦘

At our core is a simple belief: when people have the opportunity to truly connect with wildlife, they are inspired to learn more, care more, and ultimately do more to protect animals and the natural world. 🌎🦘
We operate two facilities under federal, state, and local licensing and inspection oversight and are fully insured for up-close encounters, yoga classes, and educational visits with our red kangaroos.
Our two-campus model allows us to provide exceptional care for our kangaroos while creating memorable, hands-on experiences for guests. The ranch is our kangaroos’ private home and is not currently open for visits. All guest experiences take place at our Yoga Studio & Education Center in Wheat Ridge.

Through up-close, educational encounters, our mission is to give people the opportunity to experience these remarkable animals in a way that inspires curiosity, respect, and a deeper appreciation for wildlife. We hope those connections encourage guests to continue learning long after their visit—and inspire the next generation of conservationists, wildlife biologists, zookeepers, veterinary professionals, and animal advocates.

At the foundation of everything we do is the care and well-being of our kangaroos. Our animals have a home with Kangaroo Ranch for life, and our programs are intentionally designed around their individual needs, personalities, comfort, and choice to participate. Every experience provides an opportunity not only to meet a kangaroo, but to learn about their biology, behavior, natural history, care, and the broader responsibility we all share in protecting wildlife.

Kangaroo Ranch is also building toward something much larger. Through continued education, professional development, research, conservation partnerships, and the advancement of high standards in zoological animal care, we hope to contribute meaningfully to the future of marsupial care and conservation.
